Opening Blind Eyes

The Lord we serve is so high and exalted, while we are so small, so human, so limited by time and space. He is so holy, and we fall so short of His glorious ideals. It is such amazing grace that He grants us access to His throne at all times, day and night.

To fathom the thought that our prayers can help fulfill His longings is beyond mere speech. We possess the ability to persevere in prayer day by day for those we encounter. This ability also allows us to relate to them with greater love and helpfulness, and to tell them of Christ in winsome and timely ways.

It seems that there are so many barriers that keep humans, God's creations, from Him. Television, the Internet, cellphones, drugs, alcohol, etc. I need not go on!

Living in a world without God's presence drives people to think that there are no absolutes, that every viewpoint or lifestyle is okay as long as it seems right to them. They depend on modern philosophies and Eastern religious practices instead of trusting God's two-thousand-year-old Words.

Satan uses many things to blind us from our need for the cross. By spreading God's Word, we can open the eyes of thousands daily to the glorious light of the Good News of Christ. Do your part, as I also thrive to do mine.
