1-3-14 Lock'em up By Levar E Jones

California penal code! A book bigger than the bible,
thicker than a dictionary, guards awaiting your arrival.
Overcrowded prisons, where everybody wear blue,
some fight their case, some just don't have a clue.
Say we don't have rights, we only retain privileges,
prison's a different world, like abandoned poor villages,
Trying to stay out of trouble, and stay out of the way,
but why do the blocks get harassed, every single day?
The prison lifestyle have you thinking. Why did I do that?
these youngstas get out, and then come right back.
The revolving door go to fast, getting knocked off track:
get trampled over, on your stomach you lay flat.
The door keeps rotating, to us it aint right,
the public hears about criminals were seen in a different light
I do agree, some idiots deserve to be here.
cause of the crimes they commit, the public is in fear
They say "lock his ass up,and toss the damn key",
may he rot in prison, he don't deserve to be in society.
