Finding your soul mate? Is that out of date?
Readers I'm 40 years old "My God" those years have crept up on me. I've been in short term relationships and one very short marriage in which I fooled even myself. I believe everyone is looking for love but I'd like to believe there is someone special for me I just haven't found her yet because I'm waiting for my soul mate! To me this is beginning to sound "old" the word literally scares me for fear that I'll never find her or for fear I am just living in a fairy tale. My idea is I'd meet a woman that captures my being one I could not take my eyes off of. But it's not just about beauty it's about getting everything you put in it! and getting it in return without qualm.
I hear most women wait for her special man to ride in on a Black Stallion :-) Couldn't I have her ride in on a Pegasus? I've realized my mistakes in the past. We need someone that we would want for our soul mates and try to force the union although there is chemistry we ruin it be trying to jump in head first and find out later that it sure as heck was a mistake :-)
"Alot" today are free spirits it's not hard to guess what I mean! Ladies am I living in a fantasy or should I give it up and join the club. Will Misses Right ever pop up?
I've lived a free spirited life and I find it no longer amuses me. There's got to be more to it than meerly lust! I can't remember too much courting.

I'm older than you, but only 35 in my head, or perhaps only 30.. lol.
But feeling like the years have crept up on you, no wonder that you feel that way. Your life have been full of trouble, you have taken alot of bad choices - days you don't even remember, and when you get clear you suddenly wake up realizing all the years have gone by. That being said, I think there are soulmates for everyone, it's definitely not out of date. But I also think we have to do something to find them, kinda meet them halfway. :-)
