Thanks for your note, however, I still haven't received the letter that you said you'd be sending me, which I tell you because sometimes mail to/from me (and other prisoners...) vanishes.
Cool that you're from Wisconsin. :) Although I LOVE this Florida sun :) and have a killer tan to prove it! When I get plenty of sun I get really tan and don't burn afterwards. :) So, I fit right in down here weatherwise.
They give prisoners a lot more milk in Wisconsin, surprise, surprise.
Although I didn't really dig the Pacers when Favre was with them (he was a prima donna pus nuts...), I like them with Rodgers throwin (he's humble and good!). So, I wrote "Cheesehead" on my cells chairs, along with some big-ass horns with a smiley face under em.
My way of saying...something to the nitwit who tried to take my cell from me, saying it was a "black" cell. (He's the same guy who donated his hat to me, rather than come on into "his" cell and pry me out).
I'd like to start a friendship too. I can't have too many decent people in my life.
Regarding the article you left your comment on, on that same subject, within the federal prison system, it's well know that the blacks (at least D.C. blacks) tolerate homosexuality, even masturbating in front of staff, but the whites (at least on "active" yards) will beat or even kill whites who do either off the yard. But the whites and Hispanics are also mostly dope fiends, with only a handful of tryly respectable guys.
