Greetings,

Today is the Independence day for Mexico. September 16th, it is a big deal for all Mexican people. But there are folks in the prison's gang units that consider anything written or drawn that relates to the 16th of September as a gang related identification symbol.

I have drawings confiscated that had that worked into the drawing and it was used to attempt to keep me in she SHU.

Which reminds me that I need to go through all my artwork copies and throw out anything related to that holiday and Azteca culture.

Freedom of expression is not recognized in California prisons and is used to validate inmates as gang members.

Respect,
Pablo
