Transgender?

Transgender?

You have an actor getting an Emmy nom, a person pushing to be a Victoria Secret model, a person pushing inclusion laws, a boy who is no longer a boy, a girl who is no longer a girl, and a person born a boy but who is no longer a boy and went through a complete transformation that caused a month of pain but now has pleasurable and functional sex, but took months before revealing this to her boyfriend.

All of the above individuals have this one thing in common: they are all transgender individuals, which means they were born one gender but went through a medical procedure to be transformed into the opposite sex.

I say:
More power to you all. Live free. Be who you want to be. Rights, right?

But damn, can I get a heads up? I like looking at Victoria Secret models too. You can't fault me for that. But as a prisoner, have I lost my right to be informed of just who I ma actually looking at, transgender or not? The annual Victoria Secret model fashion show is a highlight in prison, and the last thing a guy would want is be faked out because of a little secret on such a high scale. Rights, right?

If you received an Emmy nom, more power to you. That show's your artistic talent. You want laws passed on your behalf? Speak out for them. You want to be Miss America? By all means, follow your heart and dreams. But don't use trickery for the sake of a little satisfaction and pleasure.

Men get tricked every day, especially those coming out of prison. They are tricked into believing they've located their fantasy girl, the love of their lives, and guess what? This person later comes on and says, "About that."

If you are transgender, let that information be known to the guy so he can make his own decision whether to stay or leave. If he leaves, he wasn't meant for you anyway. Your happiness should never be based on a man's validation anyway. Isn't that one of the reasons you wanted to get away anyway? So you would not judge like a guy? To have your independence and to fulfill what you want to be what you've always felt you were? Choices? Rights, right?

Don't be like those girls from back in the day, where they used trickery, got pregnant when they wanted a guy to stay with them or marry them. That's trickery at its finest and ugliest. If you keep that little secret of yours, what's the difference, huh? You would feel betrayed if you met a guy, fell in love, and he waited until that love fully blossomed before he told you he has a violent criminal record where he spent years behind bars, right? Rights, right? The same goes for your situation.

We all must be fair to the other person and make our intentions clear about who we were, as opposed to who we are and what we want when getting into a relationship, especially when it comes to something on such a grand scale.
