Hello, Rita! It was very good to hear from you and I was excited about replying because you sound very interesting. :P

I can already tell you are a very unique woman and you are correct about our age difference not being a big deal. Age means nothing because I have a lot of knowledge for me to be so young, and I am very glad to talk with you. Hopefully, we can become great friends.

From your posts that I read, you have some very intelligent daughters. To learn Russian, English, and Dutch: that is very good.

So what kind of poems do you write? I love to read and write poems because it's a release for me.

You know being in prison means you lose so much freedom, but your words can never be locked away and you can express so much by your words.

I love to read too, anything I can get my hands on. But I love spy thrillers, action, and autobiographies. What do you like?

So what is Belgium like? Do you like it better than America? I would love to travel once I come home. I love sightseeing.

I am having a birthday today (November 12th). It's not much in here, but at least I am alive and going home in 4 years. I can't wait to get out and enjoy life because prison is not a place for me.

I have a sister who just had her 2nd baby, and I have a little brother who is 10 years old. I can't wait to spend some time with my family.

So you have a fiancé? That is very good, if he is able to come home. I would like to hear more about him. What type of activist?

Well, I apologize about my reply being so late, but I only get your replies every 2 weeks. So if you want to write to me, then you can so we can get our letters quicker. It's up to you. My address is the same still. But I do hope to hear back from you, and I hope this reaches you soon.

I have posted a poem. I hope you like it. It's one I wrote for a friend of mine. I have several pictures that I will post soon. I need to get some copies made. We are able to take pictures here once a week.

My family are from Statesville, North Carolina and the prison I am in is only 30 minutes from them. So I am fortunate to be close to family. Plus, I get to use the phone. Calls are cheap since I'm close to home.
