Thank you, Julie! My apologies for taking so long to say so. I received the envelops and pad of paper, but not the pens. They supply me with pens and refused to put the ones you brought me in storage. Because I couldn't afford to mail the pens out, they were destroyed.
That's why I ask people only to buy me things I specifically ask for. No sense in spending money on things that'll end up thrown away.
A friend recently bought me a book from Amazon. Amazon isn't in the habit of enclosing receipts in such cases. Staff denied me the book because all books sent to me must come with a receipt from a business.
The prison I am in started as a supermax and the delusional self-righteous hypocrites running the mailroom and property department here are original staff. They never met a rule, procedure, or code they didn't like or a prisoner they see as a human being. They will deny anything they can for any reason they can.
If you want to correspond with me, send me a letter. Your choice.
