About This Blog
The purpose of this blog is to archive and document the row process methods of writing, designing, printing and distributing of WODZ (Write or Die Zine), and to share the behind the zine process with you in our efforts to continue the underground production and preservation of this unique zine stories? and project.
The WODZ issues that are currently posted are excerpts I've selected and arranged from each issue to give and overview of the series 5-year history. It's my "best of" these issues in addition to the WODZ issues ill be posting exclusive interviews, zine reviews, editorials, and other related posts.
Your transcriptions
While this is vital to making posts more accessible to users through search engines, this is a useful feature of the blog in enhancing the editorial work that goes into putting issues together from scratch. The transcription of the handwritten and manually types posts can then be printed, mailed and assembled into the next WODZ issue.
Starting 2016, those of you looking to transcribe will know what post are transcription ready (priority) by the red "T" encircled in the top margin of the first page of posts. I may also post a "Transcription Ready" list of titles and please leave a comment with each post you've transcribed. I'd like to know who you are.
Your Comments
I need your feedback, questions, suggestions -Your comments. I'd like to make use of the features like comment/reply to incorporate an interactive element into this blog, as well as the WODZ issue itself, a multimedia publication connecting this blog to hundreds of prisoners who read WODZ. Look for my posts and hashtag (#) titles particularly to comment on. Respond to articles slated for upcoming WODZ issues. I also include those kinds of comments from you in our WODZ issues. Replies from me can take time, so please be patient. :) and look for more to come.
