"New Excerpt for Robert A. Horse":
Greetings World! Now, that I am into my 17th year of incarceration, my time to finally walk free is fast approaching, and I am trying to prepare myself more and more each day. I realize there will be huge struggles ahead, and being a Native American inside the state of South Dakota is a another struggle on to itself.
Although, I have come a long way as it concerns to personal growth, spiritual growth, and educational growth. I still realize there will be so much to learn and so much to experience. These coming months, I hope to focus on finding friends to help me better understand the world of today and the expectations also. I know I have to work on communicating properly, because I been in prison since I was a young person and it's not everyday in prison you have converstaions you would have in the free world.
In addition, I am open to sharing my culture with you, and open to any questions you may have. I am Oglala Lakota (Sioux) and Northern Cheyenne. I am very involved in my culture and very aware of the Native American issues for freedom in the USA.
Please feel free to contact me and create that connection we all need as humans! Thank you!
