As the readers engage this project, know this; This issue was produced and developed under very unique conditions, and the following are more interesting unique facts about this amazing work, an issue of many firsts.
1. It's WODZP's first all handwritten issue, a real personalizing movement of the scribes.
2. It's WODZP's first full page photos and artwork that accompany each written work. I'm attempting to make this a 1990's version of a true poetry slam on paper, as the zine itself becomes the stage for those who are unable to attend the live set performance.
3. It's WODZP's first live recital of works by contributing writers, so, WOW, because real people get to engage us in our real time human element, nerves and all :)
4. It's WODZP's first audio recording, and full zine scan to accompany the audio to be not only broadcast as program premier of The Sound Mind Streamer, but also to be posted online at Piankhi's direction.
5. It's WODZP's first S.Q. newspaper feature as we also are inviting S.Q. News to report on the "Mic Check" slam.
6. It's Piankhi's first commission of me to take full control of the creation, development, production, layout, and publish ready, for a WODZP issue, from cover to cover. Piankhi has been grooming me for this solo flight since issues #2, #4, #5 & #6. He has groomed me well, great job young teacher.
