Several years ago, I created a website called Mazatipioyate.com for the great need to help my people. Through this outlet I hope to bring awareness to our struggle and create solutions to the high rates of incarceration amongst Native Americans. Many in popular culture today believe we Native Americans still live in nature, roaming the great plains USA, and living happy lives. But the reality of the situation is we face high rates of every negative you can imagine, and the dark history of Native America plays a major role in our struggles today.
