Hey Jamie,

Got your comments on 11-2. So they took 21 days to reach me, but the timing couldn't have been better. I had just finished a letter to a magaizne I have a subscription to called Astronomy. I'm trying to convince someone down there to let me write about once a month with a question or two that I've got regarding our cosmos. Or maybe they might know of some type of chatroom regarding the subject that I could use this system to communicate with. I've just always had a real interest in the subject. And now with all the time I have to read, I'm learning that a number of my assumptions on certain facts and figures have been incorrect (just don't go telling anyone I told you that).

I got the song by Staind "It's Been Awhile" and should be receiving a copy of the lyrics from my buddy at AMS (excellent song). I'm not sure when it was produced, but would it fit in the category of keeping up with the times? :-D

The following Saturday I got a visit from my folks and brother. Which, as always, turned out to be a great time. I don't know, I think they like me or something. :)

On 10-5 my mp3 player started screwing up. When I tried to get a piece of relaxing music, that has a xylophone as the lead instrument, it charged me for a song but never delivered it. So I had to turn it in to be fixed. It's been a whole month so far. Ugh! :P I definitely miss it.

Somewhere around 10-12, I included another essay to my blog "Serving Time". You might want to look at it.

Since you've been having your holidays, have you been up to doing anything different? Before I could drive, and even after I could, I used to enjoy riding my bicycle a lot. Then there was going to the beach and also rollerblading. I would imagine skiing would be a year round event for you. Or is it not as convenient as TV portrays it? I've never even seen snow and I guess now I never will. I've always wanted to just jump in about six feet of it sometime.

Snowbirds in Florida is actually a slang term for people from the colder, northern states who migrate each winter to our sunshine state. Retirees are simply retired people from up north who are sick of all the extra expense and hassles that the snow brings about. For someone on a fixed budget, who no longer works, it is less expensive to live down here.

I took French classes in 11th and 12th grade. However, I didn't have anyone I knew after I graduated to use it with. :( It's definitely a beautiful language. And I guess with all the tongue work involved in speaking the language, it was just destined to show up while kissing too. :P

In closing, please allow me to apologize for my rude statement regarding the type of diet you have wished to maintain. I can honestly say though, it was not a statement stemming from what I believe on the subject. I had simply come across it in a book, shortly before receiving your letter.

Well, hope to hear back from you soon.

MAZE

P.S. What does x) stand for?
