Dear JT,

Hi, how are you? I hope good. I just received your comments & I just wanted to thank you for pointing out to me that no matter what, I can't ever give up on my child. MY mom never gave up on me, I can't give up on mine. I have encouraged my family & friends to stay in touch with her so that she can feel loved, family ties or just to confide in if she feels alone & needs to talk. She chose not to have contact with me but maybe she'll change her mind in the future. My aunt Cindy pointed out to me that she just needs time. This is not a natural life for her so give her time. And I will. When she is ready, whenever that may be, she knows how to reach me & I'll be here waiting. I was angry but I'm not anymore. I love her, she is my daughter & I want her to have an amazing life. I never want to see her live like me. Everyone does change as they grow & I feel like an idiot for forgetting that, thank you for reminding me. I'm definitely not perfect so thanx for making me remember that we make mistakes & my daughter will continue to make them but it's not a reason to give up. I wrote that out of anger & frustration. Sometimes I still need a reality check. I just wish that I could do more for her. I see the mistakes she is making, I desperately want to help, but she shuts me out. I wish someone had helped me when I really needed it, maybe I wouldn't be in the mess that I'm in. But I won't give up on her. No matter what she does, she is still a good kid & I love her so much. I never knew I could love someone so much that I barely knew, but it's possible.

So again, thank you JT for reminding me that no matter what, she deserves my forgiveness & I'll never give up on her. Please feel free to remind me on anything when I tend to forget. I saw the psychologist today & told him that I am so very forgetful. I just can't seem to remember everything that I want to. My mind was once like a sponge, I remembered everything, now, I have to take my phone book to the phone because I can't remember the phone numbers. Maybe I am gettin old.
