August 15, 2017 been several months since my last post. Figured I needed to update everyone. Actually I wasn't going to blog anymore, but here I am again.

On June 28, 2017 at approx 2PM I was sitting there in cage at Florida State Prison G-wing 2303 when the officers yelled down and said, "Clark pack it up!" I said "where am I going?" They responded "across the river." Union Correctional Institution is only a quarter to half a mile from F.S.P. I could see this building P-dorm from G-wing. I hated to leave a couple of my brothers behind, but other than that, I was glad to get away from there. Well I also miss a lot of the officers. We had some really good officers over there. But I do not miss the poor sanitation. That place is nasty.

But I want over here 2 weeks on Wednesday 9AM July 12, 2017 Sgt and 2 C.O.s (correctional officers) tore my cell up. When I get back and start cleaning everything up, I notice paper, pens, markers anything I can write with is gone. Okay I see what this is about their trying to stop me from writing. I had pen, paper and envelopes within an hour and began writing my friend who has political connections. About of my stuff was thrown in the trash, I was able to get that back within a couple of hours.

Well my friend did wonders. A captain showed up here in front of my cell on Thursday July 20 at 5PM he was pissed off at me! Cussed at me as he left off the wing. I let it go.several minutes later my paper pens markers etc was returned. Several hours later I went out and met with the Col. and Major. Next day I met with Warden Jordan the Assistant Warden Kish and the Col. we had a nice conversation. I have to say I like this Warden and the Assist Warden. They said in you have an issue come to them. They said this is not the same corrupt U.C.I. that it once was, and mr. Jordan said when he retires he hopes to leave this place in better conditions than it was when he found it. I'm still uncomfortable with several of the staff members that are over here. They were here back in the day. It is what it is. I'll only be comfortable when they put body cameras on staff.

One thing I liked about F.S.P. video cameras everywhere and audio recording devices on the wing. Over here at UCI P-dorm, we only have video on the wings and yards. No video in the main hall or on the quarter decks or staircases. And no audio. Don't like that. Mr. Jordan has staff under control. But mr. Jordan isn't going to be here forever. Other thing I liked about F.S.P. you get your recreation every week. If you have a call out your going to get a yard make up. You may not receive the whole 6 hours, but you will go outside twice a week over there. Not so much. Last week I received one rec yard and that was on Wednesday August 8, and only 2 hours and 34 minutes. Week before that I only received one rec. July 10-14 I only received one rec for 45 minutes. This never happened at F.S.P.! I've tried to get us 3 rec periods a week. Well that doesn't go over well here. But I've got something in mind to change the law, and require more out of [?] time.

Our cages are bigger over here. 9x7, which I like. At F.S.P. I can reach out spreading my arms and placing my hand on each wall standing in the middle of the cell. These cages over here, are ALOT hotter! This heat and humidity over here is brutal! Food trays over here are clean. Sanitation is better. We don't have that black mold all over the tray lids sitting right on top of our food. Also the visiting park over here is a lot nicer. Overall, I'm glad to be back over here with the exception of 3 or 4 officers.

Mark Asay (catfish) has 9 days left to live. That's another reason why I'm glad to be away from F.S.P. Just too close to death. Watching men be carted out in that white hurst. I'll be sending in another blog over the next several days. I'm trying to live within my Faith and not be so harsh and judgmental. People out there really do need to take Ellen Degeneres' words to heart. "Be kind to one another." God bless you all.

In peace + love
Ronnie
