Look into my eyes
read between the lines
words are cut and dry
can't hide
from the truth
or sugarcoat the past
that my love for you
will always surpass
don't just tell me
what you think
I want to hear
don't answer my question
if it's too painful
for us to bear
sitting here in shadows
holding one another hearts

sitting here alone
I close my eyes
I being to dream
I talk to
the woman in the moon

but everyone has gone
so I sit here alone
in my self-made prison
of all the hearts I've broken
