Corrupt Companions In The Church

So many times we think people love us in the church. But the truth of the matter? You see likewise.

Been going through persecution for decades with people who walk through the same church doors. Some think they are better than the next sister or brother. Some are mean as a rattlesnake. Some wants to say who is saved and not saved. Every time God gives me an assignment or opens up a door for me, they drag my name through the mud and try to hinder my ministry. When I was over a ministry, they dragged my name through the mud with all kinds of lies out of a jealously. If there was somebody in the body of Christ who was for me, the other brothers and sisters would go to them. Say, Honey, she doesn't know what she is talking about. Girl, she misquoted that Scripture or that's not what that Scripture is talking about. I even had church sisters monitoring me in my dormitory room by coming to see if I was reading my Bible in my room. The other half would literally spend all their time monitoring me and my life. Some of the other ones, when I talk, they get mad. I had some be bold to tell me that they didn't want to hear what I had to say.

My pastor, who I was best friends with and walked on the ministry with her, I was basically her drum bearer. I was growing so in the Lord. She became jealous of my growth because I had passed her in knowledge and my walk with Christ. She began to do things to me out of jealousy. The prison gave me wrong counseling out of jealousy.

Thank God for the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.

So in the church lifestyle, you have to shake the mean spirit, jealous people, the gossipers and tablebearers completely out of your life. Some church people are broken on the inside. While I am walking around with the joy of the Lord on the inside of me, they throw hurts about me, saying you don't have to be strong all the time or have to put on for everybody else as a strong being.

One thing about me: what bothered me last year did not follow me into the year 2018. Because I refuse to cry over split milk. My yesterday is not my today. Theirs might be not mines. It's like if you're walking around complaining and sad that those individuals are happy, something is wrong with you. Because they are secretly jealous of you anyway. I've always had the mindset that any fruit doesn't belong on my tree. I shakes it off before it takes root in my life. However, sometimes I have procrastinated on getting rid of the fruit before it takes root.

I want you to tell yourselves: Honey, I ain't got time for your foolishness this year. Go ahead on your way. You're not going to weigh me down this year. I am shaking you as of right now. Say to yourself: I am laying my weights off according to Hebrow 12:1. Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles and lets us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Release that corrupt companionship.

Deliverance From Corrupt Companions

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask you to open the eyes of _____'s understanding that he or she might not be deceived by the influences of corrupt and depraved people. Thank you for causing him or her to come alive and awakening him or her. They might return to sober sense and their right mind.

Father, I forgive his or her sins and come before you asking for mercy—mercy that triumphs over judgment. Thank you for drawing them to yourself with cords and bands of love for him/her to repent with your goodness. Then he/she will separate themselves from contact with contaminating influences and cleanse themselves from everything that would defile the spirit, soul, and body.

In the name of Jesus, I bind his or her mind to the mind of Christ that he or she might live and conduct themselves honorably and becomingly as in the open light of the today. I loosen him or her from the wrong thought patterns of his/her former lifestyle that were controlled by a set of values inspired by the adversary, who misleads those who have not come alive to Christ.

I ask you to give him/her a willing heart, that he/she might be loyally subject (submissive) to the governing (civil) authority—not resisting, not setting themselves up against them. He/She shall be obediently prepared and willing to do any upright and honorable work. He/She shall walk as a companion with wisemen, and he/she shall be wise.

_____ is pardoning through the name of Jesus. Because he/she confesses to his name, He is victorious over the wicked one because he has come to know and recognize and be aware of the father. As _____'s mind is renewed by the Word, the Word dwells and remains in him/him and he/she cannot practice sinning because he/she is born of God. The Law of the Spirit of life in Christ, Jesus has made ____ free from the law of sin and death.

Thank you, Father, for watching over your word to perform it. In Jesus' name, amen.
