Thank you for your comments regarding my 2/24/18 post about the Valentine's Day shooting at MSD High School in Florida. You're right, changes are needed. You echo the sentiment of our nation today.
But the Porkland shooting caused action like no previous shooting ever has. Those Parkland students have started a movement in this country that's not going away. Those students are not going to rest until those needed changes are obtained.
Politicians would do well to heed those students' demands and not dismiss them as mere "kids". Some of those "kids" will be voting by this November's mid-term elections and most of the others will be voting by 2020. And it's not just the Parkland teens, it is teens all across the nation following their lead.
Those students have sparked a new ere and they are fearless leaders.
Indeed, changes are needed. I've never before been so certain that change is coming!
