Thanks for dropping in Between the Bars and sharing the Glory of Hera with me. I'm sure you know Joseph Campbell, American mythologist and folkorist, spells out the significances of mythology too. It's all archetypal indicators of our nature—locked in a so-called unconscious.
The beauty of mythology is that those ennobling impressions of reformed consciousness. Human beings tend to emulate those things which they revere. It's where the slogan "What would Jesus do" comes from, don't you know? When in Rome...
In a make-believe world, BEWARE! Matt 24:24 points out the Pied Pipers who, true to the stratagems of demagoguery, convince believers how treacherous commonsense can be. Stupid slaves don't think—they obey! they say. Good thing we stalwartly resist slavery, isn't it.
Coming to grips with the unconscious and bringing unconsciousness to the light of consciousness—glorious indeed! Look up the word "persona" and follow C.G. Jung's clews into the anima/animus game.
"The power of eloquence," you say—and "coax"? I had to look up those words to see why you attribute them to me. Eloquent (to speak out) 1: marked by forceful and fluent expression, 2: vividly or maringly expressive or revealing and coax 4: to manipulate with great perseverance and usually with considerable effort toward a desired state or activity. Yes indeed, so I am.

The persona the mask oh yes the proposopoeia the language of the Poet's. I can see where you tie this in with the demogouges and the falseness of their intent. But there is another agenda I see in all of this, taking me to the Archtypical analogy of symbolism. The Mask of Wisdom, the Troubadour's were adept in this hiding the true significance of the choir boy seranade of the Divine feminine. But in a world that was quite hostile to the truth they must appear as fools to be equal to their audience. At least in their persona! Archtypes are numerous and many different symbols can point to the very same meaning as another. Masked in a way that that the thoughts of the audience would applaud in their ignorance of the very thing that they applaud as the Martyr faced the Auto-De-Fa. Oh the labyrinth of wisdom is treacherous indeed. To enter and conquer the Auroch does require great Mettle. The Anima, does leave a thread we can find In many Aesthetic works. Poetry and Art. No pied Piper there! It is designed for Messiah's only No? Or Martyrs. To find Her is Beautiful is not? I wonder why the World hates Her naked? Revealing their own impurities it does. Oh yes the 🤡 the fool.. doesn't it say somewhere that one must become a fool to be wise? Anyhowl !!! We both know the prison medical Dept. Is a joke. I have had several friends die from Hep-C in prison. While in prison I refused interferon. Knowing the side effects were not worth the effort. But many other ills I faced... Such as what Hep-C has done to my joints, shoulders and knees with acute arthritis. I have dislocated shoulder to this day, trying to get it fixed in prison was a joke. Every 6 months for a doctor to see me to just put off the next visit for another 6 months to go through the same scenario over and over again till what? I paroled and they were rid of me. Your right it is a numbers game- statistics on paper for them to escape the true obligation of providing real health care. The treatment I receive now here in Washington is not the best but by far more attentive than CDC. I had often thought of just rushing the Medical Dept and stabbing every quack I could get my hands on.. now with hindsight I'm grateful I didn't. But who really can make the Medical Dept. Liable for there negligence? The legislature doesent give a shit. And the inmates will not strike it as a unit for fear of loosing their T.V.s and other comforts. What a mess Prison is ... You get sick in there it's a death Sentence. Health care? Bullshit.
