The Misplaced Vessels

The Georgia penal system is messed up when it comes to women sex offenders. Everybody has to register as a sex offender. That is not right. Because everyone is not a pedophile. They are registering prostitutes, etc.

Children lie about their ages all the time. I can attest to that. I was being molested by my step-dad. I met this 27-year-old man when I was 13 years old. I told him I was 18 years old. I slept with him thinking I could run away with him so my step-dad wouldn't bother me no more. Was the guy in the wrong? No, because I deceived him. But when he found out my true age through someone, he was mad. He said, "What are you trying to do, put me in prison?" He left me alone.

My step-dad molested me when I was 9-13 years old. My mom was a nurse. She worked all night. She didn't have no knowledge until I brought it to her attention. Today, she would have been in prison. And had to register as a sex offender.

These women in the Georgia penal system are doing all their time for sex offenses and made to register as sex offenders upon release. There are basically no half houses for the female sex offenders to parole out to. So this is causing them to do about all of their time. They may have a 1 PM or date, but they have no place to go.

The male sex offenders in Georgia have over 30 halfway houses they can parole out to. If this ain't sexism and stereotyping, then there is no justification for Georgia doing this. It's really sad.

Some of these women are good people. They got misplaced in Georgia's system. A lot of them are mothers, grandparents, somebody's sister, auntie, etc. Nobody should misplace any vessel to let them be torn apart and just left there to waste away like they are a nobody.
