Is The Cover Up Necessary?

Some cover up is necessary. Such as putting on your clothes or a hat when it's cold outside. But some cover-ups are unnecessary and ridiculous all because the individuals are selfish and jealous. People will try to do anything to keep you out of the spotlight.

Recently I've been going through a lot on my job. My co-workers will do anything to be in the spotlight. Do anything to make me look bad. The three individuals are doing everything that is wrong under the sun, from stealing, to passing etc. But when the upper staff come around they act like they are the best workers and hard working people that have it all together. But when the upper staff is not around the one who is costing me the most problems is in the closet asleep while we working out butts off. They have been doing this for a long time. The last girl they treated the same way. So they been trying me up. I am a very humble person but it's matter what I'm humbling myself to. In the past the detail got a [incentive?] but I wasn't present. They didn't say my other co-worker is not here right now. Can I get hers. Give it to the supervisor on duty in that area where I work. The main enemy. That was out for self. God fixed it where my dorm got centive and the other co-workers did as well. She didn't get nothing. We tried to get her something but nobody would come up off nothing for her. She was all sad but when she failed to say anything about me I was not sad. When they done me like that because I know my season was coming. I didn't complain I didn't never get nothing. I was humble. Matthew 23:2 for whoever humbles himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Yous ee, when she got her centive she was like yeah I am the best. Rejoicing over my misfortune. But God seen that I was humble and didn't complain and get mad. My dormitory that I was living in hadn't got a centive in a long time. Because of my pure heart towards the Lord and my humbleness you see I was last thing on the staff mind but God put our dorm first to get a centive. [?] dorm was considered a trouble dorm. Matthew 19:30 But many who are first will be last and many who are last will be first. God will put you first when your enemy try to overshadow out of jealousy.

Everyday it's something with this one lady who [?] can't stand me. So this she requested through the staff some wax so the detail can wax this weekend. They gave it to her. I went early to work to get started. I am an early bird. I had my music on. My favourite song Hood Celebrity (Walking Trophy). I was chilling in a good mod running that [?] buffer. After 8am here she comes walking in the dorm, giving orders. First of all I am thinking: you are not my supervisor. The people in uniform is my supervisor. I am a peace keeper. With this individual you have to walk away from her because she is going to keep on with the foolishness. So I exited the unit and went back to my dormitory. Some adversary you have to say oh you got it. Peace out, yo! She said in a hateful way: I will do the floor. Great, I am not going to put up with your stupidity. Man, I was chilling and in a good mood. She messed up my vibe. But check this out, this lady can't go home to anywhere because of her circumstance. But I been trying to help her. On that level she is nice to me because it benefits her. Outside that she got to keep me out of the spotlight because she is very jealous of me. You see I am sympathetic. When it comes to me as a person she believed the worst about me. On my job they try to cover up their jealousy, but I see it. It's very obvious they don't want no staff members to even talk to me or pay me any attention. They interrupt conversation. Or they something like here we go in a negative way. They have went and told lies on me. Through all this I been praying and been humble when I want to say something I bite my tongue. Because it doesn't have to be a battle between me and my co-workers. They all confide in me for advice or help. But I am only beneficial for that purpose. (Selfishness[?]). So I am like how am I supposed to deal with this? I get question about my every move on this job by those co-workers. We all can be doing the same thing. But when I do what they are doing? There is a problem. And they covering up they mistakes. What they should be suspicious of is getting caught.

So I was reading my Bible. The topic was coverup. Coverup more costly than admitting a mistake. 1 Chronicles 19: In the course of time Nahash King of the Ammonites died and his son succeeded him as King. David thought I will show kindness to Hanun son of Nahash because his father showed kindness to me. So David sent a delegation to express his sympathy to Hanun concerning his father. When David's men came to Hanun in the land of the Ammonites to express his sympathy to him the Ammonite nobles said to Hanun, "Do you think David is honouring your father by sending men to you to express sympathy. Haven't men come to you to explore and spy out the country and overthrow it? So Hanun seized David's men, shaved them, cut off their garments in the middle at the buttocks and sent them away. When someone came and told David about the men, he sent messengers to meet them, for they were greatly humiliated. The King said, "Stay at Jericho till your beards have grown and then come back."

When you're nice and sympathetic to people, some are thankful for you being concerned. But some will use it to their benefit but they become suspicious especially when they are mistreating you. So they will think you are doing it out of ill will. So they feel that they got to keep an eye out on you. You will not get them before they get you first.

How may you know you have victory over such a situation? Let's look back at David's situation. The land of Ammon bordered Israel to the east. The nation had a sordid beginning: it's founding ancestor, Ben-Ammi, was conceived through incest between Lot and his daughters. The Ammonites, who were constant enemies of Israel needed their greatest strength in the days of the judges. David was the first military leader of Israel to crush them. They were unable to cause further trouble for many years. Hanun misread David's intentions - you see people will misread your intentions. Because he was really suspicious, he brought disaster upon himself. Because of past experiences, it is easy to be overly suspicious of others, questioning every move and second guessing their motives. But while we should be cautious and wise as we deal with others, we should not assume their every action is ill-intended. The Israelites men always wore beards. To be forcibly shaven was embarrassing enough but these men were also half naked! Hanun's actions humiliated these men and insulted Israel. This story tied into my situation on my job. The most humiliating and insulting things my co-worker has done to me. When the upper staff come to work area, they make sure they run back to the scene so they can see them but they make sure I am not in the picture. What they do is we all agree to leave. They back track to make it seem like I am not part of their team. That they are a team of three. I am not a team player. One of my pet peeves I cannot stand a cover up to make something look like it is when it is not. I can't stand the spirit of cover up and disguise. So what I am going to do about the situation. leave and get a new job. I cannot grow in this environment. I hope this writing teach somebody life to go to the next level in their career etc.

Hi, I've just finished transcribing your writing for Between the Bars. I'm sorry for your troubles at work but it's really great that you have decided to get out of that bad situation and find a new position. I wish you all the best in it. I really enjoyed reading your letter - you have a very engaging style and the Bible passage really helped bring your message to life.
