I've been wondering what I wrote to you regarding mediocrity, and how that may have appeared to you - and others visiting my blog site.

Mediocrity: Moderate ability or value
Mediocre: Of moderate or low quality, value, ability, or performance: ORDINARY.

I've been wondering if what I wrote you appeared bombastic. As averse as I claim to be regarding mediocrity, I am not claiming to be a paragon of excellency by any stretch of the imagination.

Your comment in re. "critique of Kierkegaard" (i.e. Existentialism): "From what angle could one criticise mediocrity", you ask. Well, Cal, let me say it again: Educated men are as superior to uneducated men as the living are to the dead. You had written: "It seems you want to say that truth is objectivity", but the opposite is actually the case as I see it. The objective all too often becomes the prevailing truth. You see, Creators objectify. Let there be...a distinction! Objectification through conceptualisation. This is what makes Pharisaism, demagogues and politicians such compelling creators in this "common" era travesty of mediocrity. This is where sycophant slaves invest in the franchise of whatever society appeals to them. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Alas, the compelling paradigm maintains momentum until a greater force of persuasion stimulates Reason. Admiration is the only universal solvent which I know can persuade Reason.

There's a Noetic book called SPECTRUM OF CONCIOUSNESS that codified the manifestations of Thought to the utmost, I suggest you read if you'd like to get beyond existentialism.

I appreciate your willingness to ponder the "Stages of Spiritual Growth" and "The Evolution Game" articles I posted. You must admit that I'm quite eclectic in my presentations to ponder. I'd like your opinion on my July post of The Problems of Work (TPOW) coursework please. The value of this data I've been delivering to prisoners here is priceless (though for 30$ it can be purchased from BRIDGE PUBLICATIONS.com). Yet I was chided for posting this ennobling work product on my blog site. Do you think there's sufficient interest BTB to invalidate the rebuke? I also have A New Slant on Life (NSOL) course in here - which I'm also promoting as part of my Scientology Prison Outreach toward rehabilitation, under my banner of Noblesse Oblige. I may be that force of persuasion to invite them to sapience after all.
