—the pain. So walking is good for them. A good thing too because I love walking. :)

I look around and wonder if I'm ever going to get anything done. Then I look and I've just finished a poem. I'm in the middle of the large Greyhound bus. This one I will be keeping for now in my personal collection. Mostly paintings of my memories of friends, family, and places I've been—places I remember, maybe from dreams. Paintings that may sometimes bring a tear but will always bring a smile.
I watched football all day yesterday.
There is nothing new right now, so I will get this in the mail today and begin a letter. Everyone, take care. :) Listen to the thunder.

Surgery went well (10/15) but I still have swelling and one eye doesn’t close right or something - feels like it kind of hooks - I don’t know how to describe the feeling. I saw the doctor Friday (day before yesterday) and he says it’s normal and everything looks like good - I see him again the first of Feb - unless I think something’s wrong. They good news is that it does appear to have helped my vision - at least during the time I can keep them open - lol
Had the flu or something last week - worst sore throat I can ever remember having. I’m pretty much over that now - getting old sucks! I went to church today - first time in several weeks - first I was bruised so badly I looked like a raccoon and then the cold/sore throat. It was nice to be out but I was happy to get back home
I keep looking at the picture of the bus - wishing we were on it - curled up together - not talking or anything - just cuddling. I don’t even know where we’re going - nor do I care. It’s just being with you that’s important.
I’ll try to start a letter this week if my eye doesn’t bother me. I’ve been reading - good thing I have the Kindle so I can enhance the font enough to see... I figure 3 words per page oughta do it - lol
Saying good night now - sweet dreams - I love you. Oh - I’m going to Alabama next Sunday for a week - so you can dream of me there :)
Yours forever...
Jeannie
