Time can go by fast in prison; although the days are sometimes like an eternity, they add up fast. It was just January, and Jimmy was showing up at my door.

My new celly's name is James and he's in his mid 50s. He's not staying long. He wants to go to A yard and they're putting him up for it next week.

It's Monday, October 22nd. Can't find anyone I would want for a celly right now. I don't like most of the people. I don't talk to a lot of the people here. Barely talk to a lot of the others. :) People who don't get along with their cellies are the ones looking to move and it's always their celly that's the problem. That's from both cellies. :)

The celly pool for an old white man here is small, less than half are white. Half of the mare gay (homophobic) and then there's the ones into prison politics. Oh yes, and let's not forget the nuts (CCMFs and BOPs) and whoever has to be a top bunker. I can't make it up there. I can barely get up on the bottom bed. :)

James won't got to UCC until Wednesday and then might not move for months. I should be single celled. :)

Besides all that, we are having some beautiful weather. The high 70s in the afternoon, the low 50s at night. I would enjoy it a lot more if the heater wasn't kicking on at night. I wake up all dried out and stuffed up. 50 degrees is not cold. Turn the thermometer to 39. :)

Hello, tigana, my sweet love. Know that I am with you in your heart as always. Got your blog comment on Thursday. Love you.

Tuesday

Someone got them to turn the heater off yesterday. Slept a lot better last night. I did have to turn the fan away from me this morning. :) But I'm dressed now and the air feels cold coming out of the vent. Also, we got our hot water fixed yesterday. It has been of for about three weeks. Longer maybe. Washing these old arthritis hands in cold water has not been good to them. :)

Reading back over what I've written, what a mess. Handwriting's bad, spelling's bad, dyslexia is real bad. Is it always this way? Is my brain going faster than my hands or are my hands moving too fast for my brain? I need to lock them together right.

That last sentence was rushed as the door opened for an early breakfast. It's still dark when we go to breakfast now, and lately I've been handing to stand outside for 15 to 30 minutes waiting for the guards to show up to open the mess. When it starts raining, I'll just hang back in the door room until I see the door open. I don't mind walking in the rain. But just standing in it until you're soaked to the bone? Been there, done that. Hard on one's arthritis. :)

But like i said, it's not cold yet. But we do have a 10% chance of rain this week. A little light rain would be nice. Wash away the stink.

I finished up the painting of the bus yesterday. Looking at it right now sitting out. I like it "Americana."

I worked on a crossword. Sometimes my mind works fast, other times it's closed off. Actors who starred in The Avengers: Emma Pool. I remembered that right off something from a long time ago. Must have been into Emma. :)

As slow as I've been going, I need to get started now. Besides, I pre-sold a couple. My hands are feeling better right now. Don't blame me because you've—
