3. My personal interest and skills include: ART 1: skill acquired by experience, study, or observation. 4: the conscious use of skill and creative imagination in the production of aesthetic objects. 5a archaic: a skillful plan. b: the quality or state of being artful, (ARTFUL 2b: adroit in attaining an end often by insinuating or indirect means).
4. Some of my personal strengths and challenges include: being artful in this vulgar era, (VULGAR ERA: CHRISTIAN ERA).
5. My 'experience' with spiritual study - and practices such as meditation, include: being intrinsically certain that the human condition suffers from stupidity. I aspire to shed that constricting skin and demonstrate my knowingness. I've been a student of several esoteric mystery schools long enough to discover: if you desire to find and to gain admission to the sanctuary, Read-Study-Reflect. i.e. MEDITATE: to engage in contemplation. 1: to focus one's thoughts on. 2: to plan and project in the mind.
6. I learned about APO in prison of course.
7. How to Know Higher Worlds: A Modern Path of Initiation.
Intuitive Thinking as a Spiritual Path: A Philosophy of Freedom.
Theosophy: An Introduction to the Spiritual Processes in Human Life & in the Cosmos.
At Home in the Universe: Exploring Our Supersensory Nature
are some of the works of Rudolf Steiner, over the years I've read.
8. My attraction to the APO Edu Care Do Correspondence Study Program is pure research - which will permit me to demonstrate what I currently know, and my ability to consider any new points of view.
9. My "hope" is always to-ward the impact of illumination!

Lesson 1. Introduction

Wm Goehler

What was really new to me in this lesson? This is my first introduction to and consideration of EduCareDo offer of self-awakening study courses as a noosphere service.

What was the most important and closest to my heart in this lesson?

"The test of any teaching can be found only in life itself."

Our scientific and technological age has achieved incredible advances through specialization, which then led to such compartmentalization. That one scientific discipline has very little understanding or experience of the achievements of another one. This separation and specialization of knowledge also reflects into our social and economic lives. In our social life we have less equality; less real contact, understanding and personal care for our fellow human beings in the world - although our possibility of reaching them has never been so well developed [telephone, computer, TV, cars, planes, etc]. In economic life there is a growing globalization, but with an attitude of everybody for themselves instead of community. With the great advances and benefits through our fast developments in the world, we have also created enormous problems, difficulties and hindrances in our civilization. We are not only depleting the resources of the outer world but also depleting our inner world - we have fabricated/lost religions and morality as a concrete reality - and we have difficulty keeping our inner peace with outer development.

What can I do - what will I do with this finding? I can and will communicate ennobling thoughts which challenge homo sapiens to be living demonstrations of their thoughts.

What have I done? And what is in process of being done?

Perusing my blog site: betweenthebars.org/blogs/420/william-goehler will reveal that that's exactly what I do. I intend to stimulate Thought.

Exercise: on other side

A storm in a tea cup: Since "no one washes up the tea cups. No matter how many times I have reminded them...", the solution is simply to replace the tea cups with disposable paper cups which can be thrown out in the trash. This solution provides an optional responsibility to-ward self-determinism. Individuals may have a choice to retain their own personal tea cup - unwashed if they like - or use the disposable paper cups.

* Freedom of choice is the ennobling vehicle: do as THOU will. Leading by example permits admiration of response-ability.
* Freedom relies upon Understanding. The past habits, judgments and beliefs holding us in unfreedom, merely need be scrutinized. Personal introspection permits consideration of logic involved in our Response-ability

Lesson 2, First Steps

What was really new to me in this lesson?

* Consciousness is developed via consideration of dualisms - which by definition constitutes problems. Little children come to this world bringing the divine gifts with them - and from the very beginning the child is influenced by human intervention, in the form of education, care and doing [Edu Care Do]. Much too often I'm afraid, the noosphere influence of stupid parents produce contamination of aberration in young minds who are trained to obey instead of consider choices to develop responsibility of phenomenology.

What was most important and closest to my heart in this lesson?

* Step by step the child's ability to reflect the surrounding world is unfolding in thinking, the perceived world is entering the soul of the child in the form of simple concepts and thoughts. The level of development - through the considerations of dualism - puts its mark on all our activities and our whole life on earth.

What can I do, what will I do with this finding?

* People - trained to obey since childhood, aren't challenged by choices. It is my intention as a protagonist to help people become more aware of their responsibility and consider choices and corresponding consequence. Observation is key to learning - so I challenge observations. It's what I do as a teacher. It's what I do as an artist.

What have I done? And what is in the process of being done?

* Perusing my blog site: betweenthebars.org/blogs/420/william-goehler will reveal that's exactly what I do. I intend to stimulate THOUGHT (drawing of a pill).

Exercise on other side.

Do we know the world through our sense experience only? We certainly could not experience the world without our senses, but there is also a non-sensory factor in knowingly experiencing the world - and that is CONSCIOUSNESS (AWARENESS). There is more to seeing than meets the eye. For instance: I can't tell what these spots in space indicate without applying effort to organize my observation - correctly to conceive the apparency intended, i.e. a camelopard. Look it up in the dictionary if you don't recognize it.

The images below are much simpler Problems (Polarities) to consider.

[three puzzle pictures]

A casual viewing reveals partials of the whole intent conveyed. With intention to duplicate the entire meaning presented for consideration, I can see more points of view - with a little effort.

Beholding beauty with the eye of the mind, he will be enabled to bring forth not images of beauty, but realities.
- Plato

Lesson 3, The Human Senses

What was really new to me in this lesson?

* The senses do not deceive: the judgement deceives. - Goethe. A sense becomes effective at the moment when we achieve perception and before mental activity sets it.

What was most important and closest to my heart in this lesson?

* The responsibility a family has for the surroundings they provide for the little children with their unfolding sense organs. The small child in its entirety is a "sense-organ", because all sense-impressions go deeply into the organism and leave their impression there.

What can I do, what will I do with this finding?

* Better understand aberrated judgements merely needs re-consideration of sense perceptions. With the senses we perceive only half the reality. Cognition is perceiving plus thinking, through which we bridge the boundary between things outside us and the thoughts within.

What have I done? And what is in process of being done?

* With more than half of my 55 yrs exiled to penal colonies, my five senses of Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell and Touch, have been suppressed - environmentally. To compensate for such loss, seven new senses emerged; Balance, Movement, Warmth, Life, Thought and Ego - senses, permit perceptions most neglect. And in that, most neglect this unique Awareness. I mostly keep it to myself. Hence: a sense becomes effective at the moment when we achieve perception - before mental activity sets it, i.e. INTUITION.#

Conclusion: Life Cycles give opportunity for Perspective.
