Beautifying Its Own

Beautifying Its Own

Here in the maze, it remains the same
Love has no pot to retain water
Compassion rots away
Leaving all word void of depth

What is true in the Land—
Is that everyone hates equally
Yet men become Branches of God
An impossibility of thought

The pot will repair itself
Religious thought makes it so
Leafing goodness
Into all men's hearts
