Nate's News, 24 March 2019

Turns out that Green Bay Corr. Inst. (G.B.C.I.) staff didn't want me there. They did an early transfer, and on 25 Feb, they sent me + a guy who was accused of humping on a female staff member to my new prison.

I wrote seven lawsuits for six prisoners, doing so up to literally the night before I was shipped out. The conditions at G.B.C.I. were terrible; work took my mind off of them.

It's not much better here, but they plan to let me out of solitary on May 7th, and they give me cellies and actual pens (not the ink tube alone) here in seg. (The last two cellies I've had have been easy to get along with.) So, I'm coping, hoping for better days...

This is the same prison that my younger brother spent years in before he went to a medium-security prison. I'm sure staff know him; he wasn't a menace, so probably the staff expect I'm not (I'm not), thus aren't out to get me.

Brendan Dassey of Making of a Murderer fame is here, on unit 6, fairly isolated, as guys at G.B.C.I were stealing from him, etc. The guy's such a peaceful low-wit, he really doesn't belong in prison - it's a disgrace to America's judicial system...

I'm still waiting for Judge Crocker to screen my lawsuit over staff setting me up to be stabbed and almost dying. You can look it (W.D. Wis. Case #18-CV-895-5lc, Lindell v. Jess, et alia) up on www.pacer.gov, and, if you do, just look at my recently filed motion to appoint counsel and declaration in support (docket #s 28 + 29) to see how serious the stabbing was, how lucky I am to be alive, and how evil staff's plot was. Please share the story.

At the same time I'm waiting for Judge Crocker to also screen my lawsuit (W.D. Wis. Case #18-CV-1021-slc, Lindell v. Litscher, et alia) about the overall conditions in W.S.P.F, one of which was the dangerous group rec. practice that prisoners MUST go through in order to be released from solitary confinement. This suit was wrote + ready to file about a year before I actually filed it - my expert had it, sat on it rather than reviewing it as he said he would, which delayed me filing it until after I was stabbed (proving my point of how dangerous W.S.P.F's rec. practice was).

Appreciate it if you all who care about either me personally or human-rights in general would contact the judge at stephen_crocker@wiwd.uscourts.gov - + urge him to appoint counsel and justly resolve my claims.

Please also help by ordering me postage-embossed envelopes (item # 8039) from 1-800-236-2611 or www.jlmarcuswisconsin.com which I need so I can continue litigating the lawsuits that I wrote for guys back at G.B.C.I.

My apologies if this note sounds too impersonal, too business orientated; but this is the real side of fighting for human rights within prison, just protecting myself. Every day some prisoncrat is plotting new ways to torment, debilitate us... someone must plot + WORK against that. Every day neo-liberals are coming up with more services to cut, my inhumane conditions to ignore... someone must plot + WORK against that. But I need outside support - even with that staff will still try + be slick, use another prisoner to try + kill me.

The prisoner who stabbed me, Jesse Kyle Keith, was charged with attempted 1st degree intentional homicide, in Grant County Circuit Court, Case # 2019-CF-18, State v. Keith. Contact the District Attorney 608-723-4237 for details, including questioning why W.S.P.F. unit mgr Lebbeus Brown and guard Shawn Gallinger were not charged as co-defendants, despite evidence attached to my lawsuit showing that they knew Keith wanted to kill me yet let him attempt to do so...

Anyone's welcome to write or touchnote.com me. You know my address.
