RECREATION UPDATE
On Tuesday August 27, 2019, we got recreation, there was 43 inmates placed on rec yard #4 down here on the south side, instead of splitting us up and putting 5 wing on yard 3, they stuck all of them over here with us which jams up the availability and access to the kiosk. But worse of all, we didn't even get our full three hours. The video cameras will show that I was pulled for rec at 1:13 pm, and was brought back in at 3:43. This has been an ongoing problem for years, for which I keep trying to address, and get changed to no avail. Now yesterday, rec staff took pictures with a camera during our yard session. Why, I don't know. There's a video camera that monitors the yard. So seems pointless to photograph something that has live video going to it. Still they had enough staff to operate both, and should have had both in operation. There should not have been over 28 inmates on that yard. And third, we should have gotten our full three hours.
This cage is psychologically damaging to the human mind and body. And there's no denying it. We need some change, and we need it now! Just wanted to keep you all updated with what's going on.
