"UNITED WE STAND AND DIVIDED WE FALL"

There's no truer saying than that of "United We Stand and Divided We Fall". For a house divided can not stand and function efficiently. We've seen this in the past with our Governments, where they are so divisive with in house fighting, that they are unable to accomplish anything, and pass bills and new laws. We see that here in the United States right now, where their unable to pass gun bills, due to the division that the NRA and other gun right advocates are causing. Yes division in any group, divides the people and stops any true progress from happening. A group must have one overall goal, that they reach to achieve Whether it be prison reform, the abolishment of the death penalty or the best, and most successful example is the NRA. They are a well organized organization, that doesn't let any division in. Yes no one or nothing should stand in the way of an organizations goal. Love them or hate them the NRA is the perfect model for which every organization should mold theirs around.
Yes united we stand and divided we fall. And the FDOC knows this, and teaches staff how to cause division among the inmates. For when we are battling with one another, then we're not standing up to them. We are often times our own worse enemies. We stop ourselves from achieving goals, bettering conditions etc. Maybe because at that place and time, we are only looking at the here and now. A benefit that we have with a corrupt FDOC official etc etc. Rather than examining the overall picture, the overall goal. Yes we loose sight of what really needs to be our focus. And that's what the other side wants. For when you're dealing with a monster department such as the FDOC, and you get sidetracked just a little bit, then they take advantage of the situation and get the upper hand. That's the way it is. In here... I and there's a bunch of others who can attest to this, that the FDOC will cause division among the inmates, and their own staff, in order to keep this corrupt good ol boy system on track.
We've seen FDOC Secretary McDonough resign because he seen the in house division and resistance to changes, that he tried to incorporate. Yes staff is taught this technique and will use it against one another. What I'm telling you is fact not fiction. United We Stand, Divided We Fall!! The long standing corruption within the FDOC is the result of division! They can't clean it up because of the resistance within the department. There's no united front. And when they try, someone is always sabotaging it from within.
Take lessons from the NRA, model your organization behind them. For your either with them or against them. You will not enter the NRA and straddle the fence. You will follow the path to achieve the overall goal of the organization, or they'll put you out on the street. I know it's easier said than done. But always remember one mind one goal of United We Stand And Divided We Fall! God bless you all.
