"UNTOUCHABLE"

Well these officer's are absolutely amazingly clueless! They run around here talking about how they wished they could take me in a room and beat my ass. They say "We should just go to his cell and tear it up!" They say "We will run rec around his physical therapy in order to deny him rec." This is all stuff that's getting back to me. What I don't understand is, they know who their dealing with, "Someone who will not back down!" So why continue to poke me, and egg me on into continuing to write about them and exposing what their doing?!! Why? If I was them, I'd come in do my job and leave me the hell alone. But they don't seem to want to do that. No they want to keep poking and poking and I guess see what type of reaction their going to get. I don't understand it, but I also don't understand a lot of what they do. They steal my address book and other property knowing I'm going to file on it, and write about it. They risk their jobs stealing canteen items, taking bribes buying inmates art work. Yeah a lot of what they do, doesn't make since. But I guess they feel above and beyond the law. When you get away with something for so long.... you feel "untouchable!"So they've got a license and green light to do what ever they want. Or so they perceive. Until they get caught lying under oath like that Captain at Lake C.I. who's now going to prison. Or those officers caught on camera beating that inmate. Maybe their stupidity is due to being over worked? I don't know. It boggles the mind trying to figure out why they continue to do this. I'd prefer they leave me alone do their job and act professional at all times. Unfortunately they want do that. Just like on August 20, when they tried to get inmates to jump on me. That's not the first time they've done that. They also did it to Jason Stevens several years back. It doesn't get much lower than that. Coming into a maximum security prison and trying to instigate inmate on inmate violence.
I don't even want to be writing about this! I've got other issues to work on. Sanitation conditions, more rec time ect ect. I don't have the time or energy to play silly retaliatory games with officer's!
They aren't in a position of power to bring about the changes that I'm trying to incorporate into the FDOC. Yet because of their laziness and resistance to change, I catch flak from them.
I don't know how their going to try to justify not giving me but one rec last week, and no rec this week! Its going to be interesting to see. What a mess when your dealing with these types of people, people who believe they are untouchable! Yes I will continue to push for change, with my dying breath. Cause god knows we need change in this rotten system! God bless you all. And continue to fight the good fight. Eventually we've got to prevail.
