Love Note
3/1/20 My Dearest Love:
Watching you dance in the far corners of my mind I can see the beauty of the world in your eyes. My world, a world your smile lights up - the bright yellow sun, the soft blue sky, the dark rain clouds off in the distance, I watch every movement you make as I move in to follow the steps of your dance. It is only you I want to dance with. I have been practicing these dance steps my whole life - I have loved you that long. I know every word of the songs you sing as you dance around the garden floor. I have never seen a real angel but I believe you move with the grace of one. The way you look at me and smile when you hit the high notes of 'For Your Love' is my cue to move my feet and sing to your heartbeat. Do you remember the night outside of Suther's Fort I put my old leather jacket on the grass and we laid on it to watch the stars, was that '64 or '65? I get lost in time when it comes to you my love. I dream of you every night - the good part is I have many nights with you to remember and dream of. Love has no bad memories, only you and I my love, I guess all I really want to say here is I love you.
