Love Note
My Dearest Love:
8/20/2020 Do you still remember all the nights we would dance under the stars until dawn bfor going to little Joe's for breakfast. Surrounded by our friends we would be there until noon some days. I remember the first time I ever went to Little Joe's in the late 1960 with a skinny girl name Jean and my cousin T.J and his girl Maryine. Damn I love you.... I love you to this day. I find it so easy to get lost in day dreams about our love I got lost the years as they pass by like a '64 Thunderbird moving up 'K' street. Do you remember when the Civil Defense siren would go off so early in the morning? It seem we were always moving down 'K' street then and we would always step back into the the store front walks and hold on to one another kissing until the sirens ended, 10, 15 minutes or was it on hours Looking back it all went by way to fast and now I long to be holding you against the pillars again. The is nothing as sweet or more relaxing than walking through our old memories together. If you want to know why I'm always smiling looks in the mirror and see what I see all the beauty in your brown eyes. I am a lucky old man, lucky in your love, lucky to have shared my love with you.
