First, I hope you have continued to test negative for the COVID? As you know, I caught it before, & I can tell you it's no joke, which is why I got fully vaccinated. Saying that, you may be correct, having a anti-social personality may be advantageous in these trying times. Btw, that's beautiful how you are looking out for your Pops by keeping "those germs at bay." I think one of the main reasons we can't get a grip on COVID out here is because some of the younger people will not sacrificed mingling with others for the sake of their older family members, then bring that virus back into their multi-generational homes.

Most of the people in here have been vaccinated, so everything has been under control the last few months, we are even back playing ball again, which, to do this COVID-weight, I needed badly. -lol-

This is the funny thing with Hov--Jay-Z, you love him, then you don't, then you love him again! I am quite sure it is because he is a silent genius, which you realize after listening to most other rappers, they just don't stimulate they grey matter in the same way. For a good example, check out how he breaks down his lyrics in his book Decoded, GENIUS!!!

I totally disagree with the view that because one is born poor they are destined to die poor. With wit & hustle--applying oneself more than the competition-- one can "rise above their genes". That's one thing Hov constantly emphasizes in his work, he did go f/the projects to the penthouse, right? :) However, believing you will die poor can become a self-fulfilling prophesy:

If you think you are beaten, you are;
If you think you dare not, you don't
If you'd like to win, but think you can't,
It's almost a cinch, you won't
If you think you'll lose, you're lost,
For out in the world we find
SUCCESS begins with a fellow's WILL;
IT'S ALL IN THE STATE OF MIND

(Ikeda Sensei, World Tribune, 3/12/21, pp. 2-3, quoting: Walter D. Wintle, "The Man Who Thinks He Can," in Poems That Live Forever, p. 310)

I will leave you with that jewel to marinate on. :)

Take care, stay healthy, & KNOW that you are capable of achieving anything you desire, & apply yourself to--Nam-myoho-renge-kyo
