Dear Between the Bars...

Season's greetings to to all there...I know its been quite some-time for my writings... I've been a busy man... let me explain...

After 25 plus years I'm 62 now I was 28 at 1st, on Tx [unknown] which is just a memory to me. I worked in the Bus Barn... then woodshop...then they let us convicts work in gen pop...things do change....my sentence has changed from death... to life,,, as of now I do work, im a 1st laundry folder I stand along with maybe 20 to 30 others and we fold in mate uniforms or jumpers that have Ad-seg on them or towells sheets... even blankets...we have also done to toilet paper we place in it at the end these little green bars of state soap about 2 inches long maybe 1/4 thick...its easy... I put 5 pieces in each end, since its nearly Christmas I'm a generous convict...see I know what it is like most. See I was a condemned man...they all look up as I am the "old man"

I've been in the Texas system 34 years flat...its amazing to be able to educate as I call it these younger kids as I tell my stories?
