"THE SPIRIT OF COMPASSION"
My wife is flying 4,000 miles to come visit me. And she wrote the Regional Director Mr John Palmer about getting a special visit under 33-601.722 Which states that if your coming from great distances you can receive a special visit. Now this administration put its own spin on this rule implementing an arbitrary 90 day claus. Saying that special visit's will only be allowed every 90 days. Which there is nothing in the rules concerning any type of time frame. This is the most uncompasionate administration that I've ever dealt with. So to use the spirit of compassion, is..... well mind blowing! These peoples actions speak for themselves. Back in the day we had administrations that would allow special visit's for us. Not only would they allow us Saturday and Sunday, but they would give us Friday's as well. Now they may scream we are under staffed. But the visiting park is already opened on Friday. Close management inmates are already out there in the non contact visitation. So it wouldn't be any added stress to allow us three day visits if they were truly in the spirit of compassion. If my wife was visiting an inmate in population, she would get a three day visit. But because we are death row, and this administration hates death row inmates we can't find any mercy compassion. We can find an excuse for anything. But let's face it. action's always speak louder than some hollow words. And this administrations actions speak loud and cleaner. We need this spirit of compassion, and not just meaningless talk. And I'm trying to bring about this change. And I need your help to bring about this change. God bless you.
