In addition to college and his Inmate Activity Groups (IAG's) Mr. Goehler volunteers in the Education Department using his talents and skill to paint murals for the B facility Education building. He works independently and with little supervision using artist supplies, paints and supplies provided by the department. His efforts to enhance the bare walls are welcomed and appreciated by the teaching staff and students that frequent the halls of Education.
He is recognized for his participation and contributions to Creekside Adult School.

After nearly a decade struggle in my personal recovery neglecting my art skills in the most part, I've longed more and more to simply return the aesthetic efforts.
This opportunity has truly been a blessing. And... my recovery is this much more complete with the autonomy I'm entrusted with.
