Are you next in line to be murdered?

One of my childhood friends, who was a gang member, was recently murdered. He was murdered on the same street corner where another one of my childhood friends were murdered years before. When I got the news of his murder, sadly, I was not surprised at all.

I just thought to myself, why was he still hanging on this corner? What was he expecting to happen? This corner is a well-known gang hangout where several people have been murdered dating back to the 1980's.

But yet gang members continue to congregate on this corner on a daily basis. Why?

In my opinion, the answer is clear: these gang members suffer from untreated mental health conditions. Anyone who has dedicated their life to a destructive culture and puts their life in constant danger is clearly living in insanity. Unfortunately, this mental health pandemic is ravaging through the inner cities with no cure in sight! Most of these gang members have experienced early childhood trauma and rejection. Then they gravitate towards gangs seeking love and acceptance, to only later be murdered on a street corner.

When will this madness end? Are you next in line to be murdered?
