I have a past, But only I can bring it into the present

A sure way to stay unhappy is to be protective of the past that I have so painstakingly accumulated. My body is a symbol. it is the past seen within the moment. And I insist that others take it into consideration because I believe it is my identity. But a body can also reflect a divine presence. One reason most little children are so happy and have such boundless energy is that they have every little past to drag behind them. This allows their minds to function as designed. Basically, they process only the present, which is the dwelling place of God.
