A SILENT WORD

A lady came into Sunrise Mall.
Her shoes were walkers,
foreign I thought.

Without a word she stopped
admiring jewelry and then a camera.
Her eye covered the tiny hole,
a moment only she captured.

May I help you, I asked.
she smiled and sropped the cannon,
then disappeared.
I wonder if she saw something
better to buy.
