Ahoy, readers!

Of course I received your comments, Courtney, + will try + get out my longer piece on prison psychosis. But I have several other months worth of blogs already lined up. Look for it in three-four months, okay?

For now I hope you dig this month's postings. If so, help me out by telling other people about my blog, transcribing these or previous posts, or volunteering for Internet Fairy duty (see late Dec. 2011 posting about this).

I get really intense swirling imagery in my mind's eye sometimes, sometimes in the middle of the night, other times as I'm going to sleep. I've done LSD before (not bragging) + the hallucinations are comparable. Maybe what I see is the result of chronic sensory deprivation, and/or the fact that I've been studying The Essential Jung + it has a section on mandalas, which depicts some of Jung's mandalic art. I've also been, or was, studying The Unabomber's Manifesto + Consciousness Explained.

As for the art, the first piece with the green outlining it + the yellow in the center, consisting of a variety of triangles, I call The Machine Cell. It symbolizes the future feared by Professor Kaczynski. Technology + society do seem to be evolving into machines' conquest of nature (the green), even down to the cellular level.

The second piece, expanding triangles, shaded, with pitch-black space between them, I call the Expansion of Technology, symbolizing technological growth and its emptiness.

The third piece I call A Society. Tell me why?
