The lamestream media would have you believe Rush Limbaugh got into trouble because he called a girl a prostitute. That wasn't the reason. First, he didn't call her a "slut", he asked if she was a slut.

The real reason Rush got in trouble was for using a hypothetical to illustrate a point. Shortly before his "slut" remark, Rush said that even if Mother Theresa herself ran against Obama, she would be called a "slut", etc. That's why he got into trouble: unauthorized use of an analogy/hypothetical.
