Why Don't I Write About
Prison Staff?

Long story short: right now
the inmates + convicts I'm around
have more exposure to me and
the guards/staff are far less
idiosyncratic than the
captives around me.
Here's an example:
Guards by me on Alpha Unit
*1st shift, a couple quite somewhat depressed country boys and female. They hardly ever talk, seem pretty stable, don't get too excited, and act pretty decent towards me and most other captives.
*2nd shift, a couple country boys, a young metrosexual, sergeants with a smartass sense of humor—again, all pretty quiet, stable, and acting decent towards me + most other captives.
Prisoners By Me on Alpha Unit
*In cell 201 is an HIV-infected child rapist (he pled guilty to raping one 5-year-old girl in 1997 + a jury found him guilty of raping another in 1999) who claims staff are pumping poison gas in his cells, is always cussing out staff, and disrespecting white prisoners + staff
*In cell 204 is an old-school convict Sean Riker, accused by his wife (falsely, from what I've seen), + mental abuse of his step-daughters, and making her rob ATMs with him, which has wrecked his sanity.
You tell me who seems more... curious, where the story lies? Right now, it's with my fellow captives. I can't help but wonder how we/they got that way.
Now on Echo Unit the staff are much more aggressive, manipulative, dirty + deranged. I'll be back there in about September, when I'm put back on Admin. Conf. + will devote some posts to revealing how they tick.
In the meantime, boy—my fellows are just where the story is, what is thrust in my face + unignorable.
