Utah State Prison System

Utah State Prison system up here in Utah is very bias and crooked, the whole system. First off, they follow under the indeterminate sentencing law with whatever other state that follows the same system. There is only 2 states, meaning the board of pardons has the power to give you all of your time if you choose. Which in most cases, they give you a lot of time.

Board of pardons has too much power to be bias and discriminate towards convicts, period. And they do.

All this prison is about is money. $100.00 fine or $300.00 fine for this or that. The system is so full 'cause they send 10 to 20 prisoners a day to prison. For people to call their families from prison cost about $15.00 to $20.00 a call. Out of line. That people's friends and loved ones cannot afford to talk to them.

Also you don't get proper health care in this prison. Nothing they do is right when it comes to health care for prisoners. They even got P.A.s ordering wrong mediation when that's the doctor's job.

These are the things that us inmates have to go through and much more than that. I don't have enough paper to write about it, and we need to help fight against these wrongful things the prison systems do to us and our families.

I am down to fight for these changes, but we also need people on the outside to help us fight. That's the only way to beat the system from these wrongs.
