Dear Sami
I received your response to my posts "Ever lasting Love" and "Mail Call". I can't say enough how happy I am to hear from someone from the free world so I thank you for all your kind words.
In reference to "Everlasting Love" I posted that piece as a way of expressing a form of love that goes beyond the conventional ideal of it. Often times couples, friends and family get so wrapped up in transparent aspects of love that without them they feel as if love is fading or doesn't exist. I believe "true" love is everlasting and has no limitations.
"Mail Call"...(haha) I never thought about it the way you put it in terms of only getting bills so yeah that can be a drag. In here it's different because a letter means some cares or that your being thought of. Many men in here have lost everything and everyone so the idea of someone took the time to write them touches them in a profound way...heck. Your comments sent to me made my day. On the streets theres tons of ways to feel acknowledged, cared for or thought of such as phone, text, e-mail, etc. In here it's just mail.
I think I might of come up with a solution to both our problems concerning mail.. Maybe we should become Pen Pals because then a letter would slide through my cell from time to time and mail will come to your box that isn't a bill (haha). Maybe it'll give us both something to look forward too. Plus I get response a lot faster by mail than through this blog because it takes weeks for me to receive it then weeks for them to post my response.
At any rate it's been a blast to have this exchange with you and hopefully they can continue. Take care out there and don't let the stresses of life weigh you down and never give up on the greater parts of your life that await you should you hang in there. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon.
Humbled by your kind words

Unfortunately it isn’t summer here. I live in Australia so it’s winter now for us. It’s 12 degrees Celsius right now (which is 53 degrees Fahrenheit). So it’s a bit chilly but at least it doesn’t snow so I can’t really complain.
Living in Australia also makes the Pen Pal thing a little tricky. I have an automatic alert set up though so whenever you blog, I get an e-mail notification so it helps me keep track and read your blogs but I’ll definitely keep up the comments. I think I’ve read all your blogs but I will go back through them and transcribe the ones that are yet to be done.
