"Please Help me"!
I am struggling right now a lot. I have run out of all me cosmetics/toiletries. The prison here only provides me with 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 soap each week and thats it. Everything else I need I have to buy. I don't have any money right now, so I can't provide myself with my needs, I didn't even get a bar of soap yet this week. I hate to ask for help, but I don't know what else to do, I know most people don't care about inmates and think they deserve what they get. I felt the same way when I was on the outside. Up to the age of 45, I never committed a crime - the most trouble I ever got into was a speeding ticket. But now that I'm on the inside of a prison - I now know how bad it is and if I ever get out I will never feel the same way about inmates. I would give them a second chance and help them get a job. There are a lot of good people in prison, that just made one mistake of bad judgement and do feel sorry and regret for what they did - I know I do and would never commit the crime I did ever again. I ask for GOD and the victims forgiveness everyday. I becmae a Christian over 3 years ago and pray everyday. I want to be given a second chance at a new life and freedom, I have been locked up for almost 8 years and have another 20 years to go before my first parole hearing. Remember I could of been your brother, son, or husband, I never though in my whole life that I would ever be in prison - but here I am. I am still in shock and disbelief, please pray for me.
