An American Spring

An American Spring

You know, I used to be bitter. There's a certain amount of indignation that rises up with in you when a high school educated punk Texas cop from a backwoods little town just plants evidence on you and coaches children to get on stand and lie to the jury - saying they seen you at the scene of a murder.

Especially when it's so flagrantly obvious, they've grown so corrupt that they no longer even bother to lie with any effort like- in my case -where the cops originally thought a guy "Doughboy" did it - sure enough- the children signed statements and lineups swearing he was present. Until of course, police theory changed. Then they supposed "Underwood" did it- and of course the children picked him out a lineup and swore the gunman was 6'5" and 300lbs ( I'm 5'5 150lbs). Then they get on stand a year later and claim they lied about everything previously said, but that the gunman was actually short and skinny- like me! Ha!

It's amazing the pervasive levels of corruption have reached such heights! In my delusional conception of what the American justice system is portrayed to be- i keep telling myself that a higher appellate court will be ashamed to pretend they cant see the glaringly obvious abuse of power inherent in my case.

I just received another appellate denial! This time from a federal district court. But the bitterness has thawed- it almost seems comical to me, I just sit back, fix another shot of hot coffee and enjoy my days. I know that there is an ever widening gulf between the overlord elites and us common folk. Every person they screw over and trample their paper rights turns another heart and the heart of their friends and families against the powers that be. I know that isolated incidents don't make much of an impact, but the accumulation of the sneer volume of such corrupt acts is turning an unfathomable number of people to despise the overlords.

For all the mean looks and deep baritone voiced threats Hillary Clinton likes to project to support her edicts, it seems the rest of the world is becoming less intimidated and is becoming fed up with the lies, manipulation, and corruption. Coming out of Washington. People will only take so much. But arrogance is blinded to that, relying on their own strength and power.

But now, even here, people are reaching their breaking points. A stamp of Clinton's heel may only frighten the citizenry into submission for so long. But look! Budget cuts, military shrinkage, law enforcement reductions... once the point of her high heel gets shorter - we may just possibly see a corresponding reduction in the amount of abuse people are willing to accept as well.

I'm not a fan of communism. Personally think it's the worst plague of slavery that has ever been invented. Didn't think much of the whole history behind the French Revolution either. But, then again, I can't help but sympathize with the frustrations of the common man who suffered so long and patiently under the regimes prior to their introduction. Can't help but imagine they experienced a certain amount of satisfaction seeing the arrogant overlords who had tyrannized over them for so long, lose their heads. Even Benjamin Franklin said at one time, "Obedience to tyrants is treason to God!"

Probably won't be long until people here begin to seek justice in the streets as well. Justice the so-called "Courts of Justice" deny them. Of course - the media will call them "crazy", and Clinton will call them "criminals", and the mass majority of the public won't possibly be able to understand the legitimacy of their grievances, unless, of course, they flash a "reality check" in the midst of American Idol... But that's alright. The rebellion will continue.

I also wonder what would happen if an invading force ever actually landed here, and limited themselves solely to attacking government forces. I wonder how many of us would identify more with the enemy than with Washington? Or at least with their grievances?

I personally think Iran's been given a bad rap. They can't possibly be as corrupt as our "leaders" in Washington are. Can't possibly believe what's printed in the mainstream press either as so much of what they report is twisted and distorted beyond recognition to actual real world events. Maybe we need an American Spring here like the Arabs had in the Middle East. Maybe we need a government that actually reflects the values of the American people as opposed to the values spouted by a politician in return for the bribes he collects from any number of lobbyist groups. As a great man, Bob Matthews, once said, "I don't care if they swing to the right or to the left... I want to swing 'em by their necks!" No mercy has been offered, none should be expected.
