Defilement Comes From Within
Many people are not reaching their full potential because their thinking patterns are defective. You cannot think negative thoughts and expect to live a positive life. You can't think thoughts of failure and expect to succeed. Your life will follow your thoughts. Just like a magnet, you will attract what you continually think about. Your life is not going to change until you first change your thinking.
You've got to think about what you're thinking about!

The Heart Can Listen Too
People converse on two levels: subject matter and feelings. Rarely are the words of an exchange what the conversation is actually about, yet we usually overinterpret and overreact to what the other person says. Even loving relationships sometimes break up over mundane discussions.
People want to be understood and appreciated, respected and supported. Today I will listen with my heart, not with my ears.
