Who I Am

From Raw Deal by Eddie B. Neal (author's profile)

Transcription

Who am I?

Am I the product of my imagination?
Conceived in the womb of the
experiences of my life.

Am I someone that you think you know?
A concept born of your emotions
and experiences of your life.

Am I the words used to describe
The circumstances of my life?
Word passed along by a generation
long forgotten,

Or, am I that instant spark of recognition,
reflected upon the screen of life as the
image in your mirror?

A perfect being whose existence is,
the same as yours at all times
Who Am I?

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

The poem was beautiful,it really brought forward the ideas of who we are. Are we made by our experiences? How do our lives differ from other people. While I was writing it out i kept thinking, if this is our life, whatever the circumstances be. You should live it the best way you can. No matter what your life means to the world, you can always make a difference. You've already made a difference, you made a child in the UK understand and think about who we are, and I thank you for that.
