Friday January 18, 2013 5.22am. You're getting to see my new stationary for the journal. I painted this piece. I hope people like it. I've been up since 3:30. I went through my daily ritual of cleaning up the cell. Kansas, ~"Dust in the Wind" just came on my mp3. That's a nice song. I forgot it was on there. I got 3 pieces of mail in last night. Mom, Otto and BTB sent me a letter asking me to write a blog on solitary confinement. Anytime they make a request, I fulfil it. So I'll be doing that over the weekend. I just finished eating breakfast. I need to wipe the floor down after they pick up the trays. At 4am the one inmate left for surgery on his neck. I hope he's going to be alright. This is the 2nd time he's had this type of surgery. Well, I'm going to do some writing and then art.

8:28am I just finished writing up that 4 page blog on solitary confinement. I'm now making a ramen noodle soup. After I eat I'll either get back to this letter to my mom, or I'll go back to this piece of art that I've been working on. I need to get that finished this weekend. The mp3-man should be around here later to do the music.

9:23am I just sent a legal letter out for that guy who needed my help. They now have a new way of picking up legal mail. One of the mail room officers or personnel ('cause she didn't look like an officer) is now coming down to pick it up. I like this a lot better. In 2011 from Aug-Oct I couldn't get a legal letter out of here. This warden has his Lt. stopping all my mail. They were going sh**, that I would never believed they would do and had it not happened to me, I wouldn't have believed it. Federal criminal acts. This new warden, you got to give her her props, she's running this prison the way it should be. I hope she does something about the way the regular mail is handled. And I hope she gets this Sgt. out of the law library. He's jeopardised the security of this prison by bringing in razor blades several of which he used to set me up with D.R.S others, he's traded to other inmates for art work. And I know that for a fact.

12:15am Just finished eating a beef stew. I've been sitting here working on a piece of art, it's another Raccoon. I wrote one card. I ave a couple of other cards to get out of here Monday. Really just trying to pass the day away listening to music and doing what I do everyday, so need to get back to it.

3:28pm Just put the art up. I'm done with that for the day. The mp3-guy never did show up. He still has time. I've seen him show up as late as 4:30. Now just waiting on dinner, showers and bed time. I used to look forward to mail call. Nowadays I'm asleep when they show up. Think I'll walk, pace back and forth and listen to music.

4:46pm Just finished eating. Now fixing to lay back, watch the news and listen to some music until showers. We saw an ambulance come in earlier, and it may have been to get Tom. I'm hearing he's on death's door and that brain cancer is eating him up. I'm hoping to find out more. It's really hard to get information back here in these cages, but I do manage to get some. Right now there's also speculation that a death warrant has been signed only because we know a van just came up to P-dorm and we got the assistant warden's in the building. I'm hoping to find out more about that.

5:04pm A death warrant has been signed. We don't know who it is, but yep, Governor Scott is going to kill him another one with Florida's machinery of death. Dirty mother f-! Him and his so-called Christian values. Yeah - and if that punk's a Christian then I'm Jesus Christ! I hate getting this mad. This hypocritical crap murder for murder by a so-called civilized society pisses me off! Humanity, civilized my ass! I'm not sure who they got, I got people in mind that I hope it's not, yet I know their name's on that list of inmates who appeals are up.

7:46pm Just found it was Paul Howell whose warrant was signed. I'm known him about 17 years. I've lived on the same wing with him a couple of times. Played basketball with him, talked with him. We were on the yard a few years back-talking about his attorney who screwed his appeals up. He's probably going to be scheduled for late February/early March. Saturday January 19, 2013 5:37am Just finished eating breakfast. I've been up since 4am. Thinking about Paul whose waking up on death watch this morning. They're going to play God and kill a healthy human being. The evolving standard of a civilized society. Really? Some day future generations are going to look back on us, the way we look back on those who conducted witch hunts, and think how sick, twisted and mentally-deranged we are for murdering our citizens under the mantel of Justice. I was trying to remember what Paul was telling me about his case, but I can't remember. I remember him telling me that his attorney missed a filing deadline, and screwed-up his appeal. My mind, memory, just isn't as good as it used to be. I've got to get to a letter.

8:03am Just found out that the ambulance yesterday, it wasn't for Tom. I was told he's in really bad shape. I feel for him and his family. I believe had that escape been successful he would have killed me. I thought that at the time, I just didn't care. Death was better than sitting here. I knew he was death was better than just sitting here. I knew he was very dangerous with a gun. Oh well. The past is the past. I finished a letter to my mom and was working on this raccoon. I need to write Dina, Anne and send out a few cards to try to get Paul some mail over there.

2:39pm Just been sitting here doing art. I did some work on this raccoon and started working on another project as well. I'm tired, so I'm going to lay down for a while. There's nothing on TV . College basketball, I don't get into that until March Madness.

6:10pm I did some more work on this raccoon. Then watched Road to the Octagon which is about the UFC Fight's this coming Saturday on FOX. That was on from 5 'till 6pm. Now I'm going to lay back, listen to some music until I fall asleep. Paul has now been on death watch for 24 hours. I feel for him and his family, and I know there's victims, but this crap, murdering the murderer does nothing but open more wounds. Sickness!

Sunday January 20, 2013 5:07am Just finished cleaning up. Now waiting on breakfast. Eggs, grits, potatoes and biscuits. It is the best breakfast that we get. I need to write a letter or to, wash clothes, finish up this piece of art. I'm starting to burn out on this art, I can feel it coming, it would be different if I could earn money. Just doing it to pass time gets old. I made a lot of money from 92-97 with my crochet work, for some that sold better than a painting or drawing.

8:58am I wrote a couple of cards, a letter to my attorney, and a motion to the first DCA. I really wanted to tell them to shove it up their -. I'm now going to eat a chili over ramen noodles and watch Sunday morning with Charles Osgood and then get back to this raccoon for my mom. This afternoon will be all football.

11:35am Just finished eating lunch. I've been messing around with my art, the raccoon. Also put a little bit of color to the stationary. Just quick and simple. Now I'm going to lay back and relax and watch a little TV. Moto Cross is on at 1pm. Then some pre-games for the NFL, and that's going to pretty much be my day.

6:10pm First fame was really good. Fixing to sit here and watch the 2nd game until I fall asleep.

Monday January 21, 2013 5:41am Those were some really good football games. I was up 'till 10pm. I got back up at 4am. I'm going to scrub the walls, the bars and the floor here in a bit. I need to write Anne today, finish this raccoon. Besides that I'm not sure what I'll do. Time to do it.

2:09pm Just been sitting here doing art work. The mp3-man came. I got 9 new songs, which I'm currently listening to. The kiosk is skipping songs instead of ordering them in the order you put them on the download manager. Oh well. I watched some of inauguration, it just wasn't as special as the other one. I'm fixing to get back to this raccoon, which I'm almost done with. This one is going on my mom's wall. I'll be getting a copy to post it on my blog. I hope Paul is going okay.

4:40pm Just finished eating. I got a real piece of chicken, that was nice. The one guy just got back surgery. He's glad to be back. I'm going to sit back, watch some TV, and wait on showers. After showers, I'll lay here and listen to music until I fall asleep. I heard Paul is set to be murdered on February 21, but I need to get that substantiated. That came from the guy that was out at the hospital getting surgery. When I hear a date, I usually ask 2 or 3 more times and see if the information matches. Right now I'm going to walk, listen to music and hey it's just another day on the row.
