hello, I was bored so i looked on the internet and found this site. I have read some blog, and Was suprised by how insightful you are. I guess that what you get when you have hours to kill. I almost wished someone would lock me somewhere i can think, and just be, think about my life, and the world. Im too busy too otherwise. Any ways People are always making me mad and disappointing me, there are bad people in the world, families are dysfunctional, dysfunction is key if you want to live in the world. You must agree with all the other, and follow the rest. ( by the rest, I mean the govt.) Im so tired of them running my life, and telling me what I can do and cant do. I know my morals whats wrong and whats right. And I dont need some power hungry man to tell me so!!I have found when you realize that people are dysfunctional is when you became normal and not dysfunctional, once you realize humanity is rude and immoral, you learn to ignore it, if you can ignore it make a difference! I am a young hippie, you could say, im a feel the love type a person, and My goal in life Is to change the world, and to stir up some dust, get people thinking about there life, and their world. I am majoring in women studies and minoring in psychology.

Hi, I was looking around the internet for something to and found this website, and read your blog. I agree with what you have said, I am in Canada, but the same things are happening here. The government brainwashes societies. Not that govt is bad, there ways of thinking are not well. I wish the world was as simple as i thought it was ten years ago, it not. If you know about Canada our current prime minister wants to make a 1 yr prison sentence to all marijuana dealers/ users caught!! It is a waste of money. I am currently in university working toward a major in women studies and a minor in psychology. I want to be a prison/ jail psychologist, I believe in second chances! I think humanity is failing. Recently the NHL cup was won by boston, and Vancouver rioted over this defeat. Humanity is failing me, but I am a positive person and believe there are good people in this world. Many people deserve second chances at life, and that majority of bad choices are a reaction of some past experience , if this is not the case bad choices can be a mental disorder, and i want to help those in need. And i wanted to know do you get bored, just sitting their silently? I sure would being kept alone, when i was younger i remember being grounded month on months for breaking silly rules. while rules are good some people are overly strict with them. I wish people would sit back and smell the flowers, look at the world and admire the differences, instead of hate just love thy neighbor. ( while i know this is not true i still have hope).
Ricky. If this would have happen in Va. you would have had a different outcome. This court system is the worst I have seen. The system should get rewards for people you keep out of prison instead how many you can put in. This way the judges will do any thing to imprison you to get another star in his crown. How do they sleep at night knowing the injustice they submit every day to innocence people. Every one has family member who love them. Look at the weather pattern now, it do not care if the people are white, it still does it damage there God has a plan for the wicked. Stay strong. This too will pass. MOM

I'm listening to the audio files you sent me from Kabat-Zinn. His guidance helps me on the path. Just found out Peggy has a very rare disease called polychondritis. Her auto-immune disorder triggered this response from a very serious infection she got in 2005 that almost had her number. Trauma sends the immune system into overdrive and it seeks a form to manifest itself. Carter has it, too, but a sunburn triggered his vitiligo. So, his body attacks his skin pigment, causing the white patches, making him vulnerable to skin cancer. Peggy's body is attacking her cartilage, which is the body's scaffolding. She gets a biopsy today to determine the extent of the damage so far, but she's had this for a few years already and it's closing in on her heart. Mindfulness truly helps you to accept what's happening and just be with it. I'm going to start her in on this, too, so she can accept the moments she has left. The diagnosis has already had a positive affect on her, as she's loosened up her death grip on life. Average life expectancy is max. 10 years, so we'll see how much longer she has. I'll let you know.
The kids are coping well enough with the news, but I don't think any of us truly understand the extent yet. All we know is what's on the internet, which doesn't look good. As the Germans say, "Mal sehen," meaning, We'll see.
